CHINABLACK'S music policy is equally friendly to the ears with music that ranges from Top 40, R&B to Commercial House. Decor Main Deck With the renovation, CHINABLACK'S interior not only seamlessly merges Asian sensibilities with its state-of-the art sound and lighting system but it also adds a touch of class with the play of colours. As you enter the main deck, the first thing that will hit you is the generous use of colour and light. The design is inspired by Zhang Yimou's movie, Hero, and each bar is themed in a different colour; red, yellow and turquoise to compliment the guests' moods. Adding to the Eastern allure, the exclusive feel for the members' area comes complete with plush seating and exquisitely embroidered pillows. A striking wrought-iron display, commissioned by Absolut Singapore, showcases the range of Absolut Vodkas. The DJ console, newly constructed nearer, the dance floor, allows guests to interact with our team of the DJs.
The Attic Bar
Replacing the old Red Room, is the completely new bar space, The Attic Bar. With Chinese calligraphy on one wall and pre war pictures, paintings and old classic signs, The Attic Bar paints a beautiful picture of old world charm, mixed with oriental chic. Black leather seats provide one a comfortable environment to come together, have a drink and conversation. An island bar creates conviviality and a great spot to mingle among friendly pubbers. Sushi and sashimi is served at the bar til late hours to help ease hungry tummies after a long night of partying. A pool table for a game or two to unwinds after a long day at work is another feature. The music at THE ATTIC BAR covers everything from jazz hits to the best in big city sounds
Cocktail Specialties
Aside from a variety of standard cocktails and Martinis, the bartenders of Chinablack have created a range of Asian-themed cocktails to tease your palate. With Cocktails like Forbidden Tower, Shaolin Fist and Yin Yang, one can be assured of an interesting night out with an Asian twist.
The Attic Bar has also launched a trio of tantalizing fruits based Martinis, Tango 69 (Peach), Pear Delight (Pear) & Adam's Apple (Apple) as well as the all time favourite, Laughing Buddha (Lychee).
